Thank you for visiting my site and listening to my music. My new single "Back to Lexington" is an intensely personal song I wrote about taking my parents back home to Kentucky to lay them to rest. This song is pretty much my whole life in four minutes. Eleanor is my 90 year old aunt who was my mom's best friend growing up. My mom used to drive me when I was young to visit Eleanor in her 55 Chevy. These are some of the references in the song.
Back to Lexington was originally written as a funeral march but it took on a life of its own during recording and became a triumphant celebration of life which is fitting as my dad was 91 and my mom was 85 when they passed. I wish for everyone to have such a long and happy life. Peace.
